Mac lipstick collection

Mac have always been one of my favourite makeup brands especially when it comes to their lipsticks. They have such a great range of colours and formulas you cant really go wrong! Personally their nude shades are by far my favourite as thats what I wear 99.9% of the time! 

I thought I'd share my collection considering I have quite a few nudes it may be quite useful if you're looking for a new nude lipstick! From looking at the initial picture they all look quite similar but swatched they do look quite different ( thats what I try to tell myself anyway).

First up is patisserie which is a lustre finish which I have to say isn't my favourite as they virtually have no staying power whats so ever. I love the colour its the perfect everyday shade and it also feels very moisturising. Its definitely my most used out of the 5.

Next is Midi Mauve which is also a lustre finish. Its darker than lustre without being too brown. Its described as a rosy mauve which I think fits it perfectly. Again because its lustre its also super moisturising. 

Velvet Teddy is one I debated buying for so long. Everyone raved about it but I wasn't sure it would suit my skin tone. I have to say its probably my least worn out of the 5. This is a matte finish which I love as it stays in place all day. I find it washes me out a little so I tend to wear it more in summer when I catch a bit of sun. 

Next is Brave which is one of my favourites for summer. Its a satin finish which I quite like. Its a lovely pinky beige shade that would suit every skin tone. It really is just a good all round everyday lipstick. 

Lastly is my most recent edition to my collection which is unfortunately limited edition, the fleurdeforce lipstick. This is such a beautiful nude brown shade, its a cremesheen finish which isn't my favourite. It feels really soft on my lips in comparison to other formulas.
