Homemade cookies

It's so secret that I love baking, I'm always looking to find new recipes to try. My sister is a massive cookie lover so I decided to bake some cookies. I found a recipe to use online and they turned out just how I wanted them! I found the recipe on allrecipes.com so I can't take any credit for that.

You will need:
250g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
170g unsalted butter, melted
200g dark brown soft sugar
100g caster sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
325g chocolate chips

Method
1. Preheat oven to 170 c
2. Sift together flour, bicarbonate, salt and set aside
3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar and caster sugar until blended, beat in the vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy. Then add the chocolate chips
4. Place cookies onto the tray and bake for 15-17 minutes until light and golden.

I love this recipe and I would recommend using it if your looking for the perfect cookie recipe.
